I really like the new Dual Stream option in BI for the extremely low CPU usage. But I don't think it solves what I'm looking for.
-Record substream 24/7
-Motion trigger with mainstream jpg quality
-Use jpg for deepstack / real actual triggers
-Send real trigger back to BI to record clips of mainstream
Dual stream records mainstream and uses substream for motion detection. So that doesn't work, uses too much harddrive space. My current way is to have multiple copies of cameras which gives high CPU though.
Is there a way a record video when it's triggered from an extern source without having two camera copies? I have two mainstream camera copies, one does the motion trigger and the other does the video recording from external trigger.
