Friendly neighborhood dude thought my doorbell camera needed adjusting at 1:17 a.m. I guess he had insomnia and thought he might as well do something for the community.

It's too high to see the floor for any packages, etc and it's too low to see the faces of people standing at the door. It's literally a waste of a camera......

All true. I put it in when I knew very little about cameras. I didn’t get a good image of his face. The light coming from above creates glare as well. This is the first time it’s been tested.

No. Unfortunately the City of LA thinks the public sidewalks are an ok place for people to camp. So now we have lots of these friendly folks keeping an eye on the neighborhood for us. Or perhaps he is the Lorex service guy.
He was on neighborhood watch patrol, saw some suspicious activity and wanted to see of you had any video footage the police could use to identify the suspect.
