Looking for ways to backup MD files while viewing them thru the NVR using the backup ability of the NVR.
Save files to a ext hdd (4tb) B
e able to access the files from another computer or wifi connection (tablet or phone).
No internet just LAN/WAN
I'm not the most computer literate but I can figure things out most times. I'm just not sure which protocol to use etc.
If someone can point me in a direction Id really appreciate it.
something plug n play would be awesome. I haven't tried anything yet as I'm not sure what to buy but I have 2 - Samsung D3 4tb external usb 3 drives sitting around. 1 is currently connected to my PC via usb for saving video files. It would be so much easier to be able to select the files on the NVR and save direct to some external storage that is accessible thru other means..
