Hello,
My BI server is set up for hardware acceleration ( no VPP), the cams are using BI DVR, set for D-T-D. When D-T-D is selected, the Video encoder options are grayed out, which makes sense, but the Profiles/Config selections are not. If the video file is not being re-encoded, why are the Profiles for recording 0,1,2 available with their associated Configurations? What do they do? Do these profiles have anything to do with webcasting? I'm trying to get a handle on all the various settings and their interactions. Been using BI for a couple of years but never had the time to do any real tweaking, so to speak. Any insight would be appreciated..
