Entry level home camera with built-in AI

While researching for an entry-level home camera with built-in AI, I selected the TP-Link Tapo C220 model available online for only €29.

In addition to the classic motion detection functions, the built-in AI supports person petection, line-crossing detection, tamper detection, baby cry detection, vehicle detection, pet detection, meow detection, bark detection and glass-breaking detection.

I have also seen the functions listed above in action and the software seems reliable and does not generate false alarms.

Would anyone be able to tell me if for about 30 € a better device can be found ? (I’ve seen other models from other manufacturers but they don’t seem to come close to the price/functions ratio of the Tapo C220)

My friend and i put 3 in his wifes fathers home so she could monitor him as he became more disabled. He had a granddaughter that lived in his basement. The cameras gave her (my friends wife) more piece of mind.

He has since passed away, but she was satisfied with the cameras.

Yes, you suggested Wyze cameras as an alternative, although they probably do not have all the functions I listed above
