I bought a set of Dualcomm coaxial to ethernet adapters a while back to test out for future projects. They were a bit pricey at about $90 a set. My main job is replacing and adding cameras to various hotels in KS. Some of the properties had ethernet cable ran to analog cameras and other properties have coaxial cable ran.

I have to replace all the cameras at a recently purchased hotel so I decided to try this adapter out on a section that would be impossible to replace the cable at without tearing out the drywall and such. It worked great! I plugged in a 1.3mp eyesurv IP camera and it worked like a champ at the highest resolution.

This is the model [h=1]Dualcomm Ethernet over Coax (EoC) Adapters (DECA-100) and you can purchase it on Amazon or directly from Dualcomm. You do have to change your connectors from BNC to the screw in coaxial (cable tv style) connectors or buy an adapter which I did . They are a bit big but should work in most applications.[/h]
