I have a confusing situation, hoping somebody here can help.
Last month the Evaluation banner showed up on one of the BI systems I help manage. This system does NOT pay for updates, and has never paid for updates since the initial year expired in 2021, which is fine for its purposes. Last month, it seems to have mysteriously updated itself to a version from 2022. Running a version from 2022 on a system with a maintenance plan that expired in 2021 is what is causing the evaluation banner.
I have contacted support and they have told me that the only way to get rid of the banner is to downgrade to a version from before my initial 1 year plan expired or pay for an update plan. They are not able to provide a version from 2021, and they also have no explanation for why my system went from a 2021 version to a 2022 version. In fact they don't have any versions from before 2023, which adds even more to my confusion as to how this system spontaneously updated from a 2021 version to a 2022 version in 2024.
They basically said they can't help and sent me here to try and find a version from 2021 that I can revert to. I have been to this link:

Has anybody had something like this happen or have any clue what happened here? Or able to tell me how to get my hands on a version I can revert to? Kind of annoyed to be honest, something does not seem right about this.
All I can find are people talking about the license problem they had last year, not sure if this is related or not.
