Why back panel of my brend new db1
is too hot. Video doorbell itself is working fine.

FWIW, the front of my Reolink got up to 151° F June of last year, as it was exposed to direct setting sun (west). This was at 5 PM CDT.

Yes, it's possible. But my db1 gets hot inside the house, on my table where i tested doorbell.
The specs say it's rated for -30°C to 60°C (22°F to 140°F ).

Any idea what the ambient temp is there on the table, inside the house OR what the surface of the back panel is?
 
Inside the house 70-71 f ,back panel untouchable hot.
Since it's "new" as stated in your post #1, I'd return it or RMA it.

I recall that these devices would run pretty hot. Still, I think I would try to return it as well. There are honestly better options now (including the newer DB2).
