Signed up for Hik-Connect account to use with Hikvision cameras but couldn't get notifications to work. I believe I figured the issue out by having the correct server named in settings (regional thing I believe) but have since used the EZ-Viz app (same account/login) for monitoring as I do have some ez-viz cameras for in the house. Now I am getting the message in my Ez-viz app stating my EZVIZ app account will not be compatible with Hik-Connect app account since (2020/08/01), then you are only allowed to use your current account to login to one of the two apps. So will my Hik-Connect settings in the cameras work if I choose to confirm using my EZviz app?
