Failed to get key. Time out

I'm trying to reset the password of a camera that is far away from me. Every time I try to get the key it keeps giving this error. What could it be ? this only happens on cameras that are more than 100m from my location

I had exact same problem today, make sure you aren't behind smart switches with rulesets, also if you are using wifi , connect with cable.

Generate XML & do not reset your decive.
