Much more info needed:
  • What were you trying to open video with...software? A browser?
  • Do you mean live video or recorded video?

That could be you exceeded the bandwidth capacity of the NVR.

Which model NVR is it and what are the resolutions/FPS/ and bitrate of the cameras?

As a test either turn off or unplug or disable (depending on your device) and see if these failed to open video cams start to show - if so then you know you exceeded the bandwidth.

Or maybe it is an issue with the network - are all the cams connected to the NVR POE ports or do some go to the NVR via a POE switch?

Provide more details - was this working and it just stopped? How are cameras connected? Did you recently add a new camera?

It can also just be a buggy connection at the precise moment SmartPSS calls the stream. I see it all the time when i first open SmartPSS with multiple cameras.

Simply click 1X to highlight the window, then double click on the camera in the list on the left and more often than not it will appear.

But yeah, it could be due to a network issue as I see that when my computer isnt talking to my router for whatever reason
