I've been a long time lurker and been a fairly quiet member on here a little while now and just getting around to an Intro.
I'm a Programmer and the one man show IT guy for an building automation controls company out of Pensacola, FL. Our primary lines are for HVAC controls and integration with the HVAC system. We do door access, cameras, fiber optic cabling, etc as well. We are a Milestone rep as well as playing with Arteco. I originally started with Integral Technologies systems then Pelco. I'm a Linux and OpenBSD guy stuck in a Windows world for the markets we are in.
My current project is rebuilding my camera system at home and upgrading to a mix of Hikvision (LTS) and Dahua cameras up to 4MP. Trying to get better video captures of the little turd thieves in my neighborhood.
