I promise to slow down with the fox videos . . . I'll at least try.

Well, it looks like I'm going to have to put the garage door down at night and hope the fox doesn't decide to start using the cat door to come into the garage. There were three bowls with cat food in them. The fox prefers Purina Fancy Feast with Savory Chicken & Turkey (ate it all) over Meow Mix Original Choice (what it first started eating) and Purina Fancy Feast Filet Mignon Flavor with Real Seafood & Shrimp (just ate a few nibbles and then left the garage).

For whatever it's worth, two of my cats prefer Purina Fancy Feast with Savory Chicken & Turkey over any other type of dry cat food. Maybe foxes have more in common with cats than we thought. LOL

I've had to drop in the cover for the first doggy door into the sun porch because of racoons. The only thing on the porch was a water bowl, no food, but apparently they'd get thirsty during our periodic hot/dry weeks...didn't want any of 2 Chi's, 2 Chi-mix and a Yorkie going face-to-face with a 'coon and losing an eyeball or worse.

Now I have a new ritual every night for the last 4 years.....I turn off the outside lights to their fenced dog area, shine a flashlight under under the 2 rattan chairs, 2 rattan tables and a rattan love seat to insure there's no critters under their before I drop in the cover. I didn't do that one night and apparently there was a 'coon under the love seat when I dropped in the cover, closed the door going into the house and went to bed. The panicked 'coon shredded the weather stripping at the bottom the door going to the outside and managed to force the aluminum-framed door open and sneak out. I'm just glad he didn't shred any of the glass-quality clear vinyl sliding windows that go from ceiling to floor. :headbang:

The other types of critters that visit my garage include opossums (picture of one of them below), skunks, and geckos (picture below) that live in the garage and near light sources outside the garage. Fortunately, we don't have the same type of lizards y'all have over east and southeast of Texas. o_O
