Following the instructions at http://www.hikvision.com/ueditor/net/upload/2015-06-10/174463cb-9771-4fb0-97aa-f99e14ca984a.pdf (even though the menus on my DS-2CD2542FWD-IS version 5.4.1 are slightly different), I was able to get motion-triggered JPEG stills sent to my FTP server. However, it only works if set to the "root directory". If I set "child directory" it does not work; has anyone had this problem? If I do FTP from command line on another system, I can write into child directories below the main FTP dir without a probem.
