Now THAT would really solve at least 1 of the very important problems we have, wouldn't it?
Seriously though...if you were to ask me what I would like to see the automakers spend time and resources on it would be something to improve the efficiency and dependability of their cars AND even possibly lower the price ....NOT some tattletale gimmick like in the article.
Could I cling to hope that Ford is seeking a patent on this so that nobody else can do it? A patent that keeps other automakers from implementing the tech? If Elon took up the battle of the 1st amendment, might Ford also be the hero fighting for the 4th amendment?

All I've ever driven since '64 is Fords and to this day that's what I drive...the ONLY time in 60 years that I was stranded in a Ford was after totalling a '17 Escape by hitting a buck when I was doing 55MPH on Christmas Eve night in 2019. ....but I'm not holding my breath that Ford is "...fighting for the 4th amendment". Ford didn't take Federal bailout money when Chrysler and GM gobbled it up either. But when they came out with the Very Gay Raptor in '22 their image lost its gleam in my eyes and knew it was a just a matter of time before they too came down with a fatal case of wokeness.
LOL.... my post was 99% satire and 1% hope. btw-- I had never seen Very Gay Raptor...what in the hell.... that is Very Gay. Raptors kind of are anyway. They fail in the work needed of a truck.
