Sorry if this is not enough info or a ridiculous question but I bricked an NVR to the point I can't even get uboot. its an FX-XVR16X.

How do I get the files back on the NAND? I have 2 chips a Macronix 25L1606E which is a CMOS chip and a nand Toshiba TC58CVG0S3HRAIG.

I can read the 25L1606E and dump it and write to it with a CH341A but when I write the uboot file it still just has a solid beep when I plug it in.

Does anyone know if I erased the 25L1606E or the TC58CVG0S3HRAIG?

My bootargs makes me think it boots the Macronix chip then reaches out to the nand for the OS -
bootargs=mem=360M console=ttyAMA0,115200 root=/dev/trb2 rootfstype=squashfs mtdparts=hi_sfc:2M(boot);hinand:8M(hpaG10000),84M(rootfs),16M(configlog),20M(reserved)

In other words if the nand was blank TC58CVG0S3HRAIG. would the NVR boot off of the Macronix chip to get me to at least u-boot, what exactly does the Macronix chip hold, is that uboot and rootfs or just uboot or none, do I need to be doing all this work on the nand?

Here are my files

app31a - 27KB - maybe the DVR app?
krvms31a - 3400kb - Linux 3.0.10
qte31a - 8065kb - dunno
rfsvms31a - 3501 kb - rootfs
ubvms31a - 325kb - uboot
