The reolink seems to get some love here and unifi is just plain expensive.
I actually have the reolink currently and it is fine, it works and sends the feed to BI. I probably turned off phone alerts, because it never notifies me any more, so probably best to disable the internet access all together as there havent been any recent patches.
Regardless, my equipment inside is all unifi, UDMP, switches, APs. My question, given the current sale on the Unifi G4 Pro ($179), does it change any opinions as to whether is it worth it? 300 I dont even consider it, but now I sit here finding myself tempted.
Is the G4 as a doorbell/camera any better than the Reolink? Nothing is wrong with the Reolink at the moment, but if there was, is the G4 actually any good? West facing, so it will get hammered by the sun, something that ultimately took out my ezviz camera I had before. I mention this only because I remember when the G4 was released, there was mention of the low operating temperature threshold, but do not recall any real world follow ups.
