Hi Everyone. I'm currently in the middle of repainting my detached garage. The front 2 corners of the garage currently have a light fixture with (2) 150W halogen flood lights - 4 floods in total between the 2 fixtures. I don't currently have any IP security cameras installed, and with the paint project, was considering replacing the halogen floods with newer LED floods. Which got me thinking whether Dahua or HIk or someone made a combo fixture that had 2 LED floods + starlite/nightvision bullet cam. Flood light positions would be great for cameras since they can see all the way up the driveway to the street, plus my back door & backside of the house.
Just curious if anyone here has found something like that, and tried/uses it, and can comment. Not sure if I'd be better off just putting standard LED flood lights in, and separate bullet cams next to the lights. I thought the combo fixture would be more covert and clean.
Thoughts?
I have no cameras today, but have gigabit Ethernet (wired) in the garage w/ POE. So no issues there. I also have Ubiquiti NVR (unused) that could be used, or I was planning on BI VM/server anyway.
