Geofence problems with I Phone 16

I am having trouble with geofence not working when I leave home. I Have had BI for several years without any major problems. I have a check in the enable box under the Mobile device tab geofence. I have checked the phone number and I do get alerts. I have check the phone to see if the BI app has locations turned on which it does. Even Uninstall and reinstalled the phone app but still cant find the problem. Has anyone had this problem? Thanks

The phone has been in use for a while. BI Version is 5.9.9.19. I checked the log as far back as it goes which was 1/3/24 and nothing was logged. One thing I forgot to mention is I was getting geofence notifications but I did not realize that the camera system it was referring to was a system I have installed in another state. I have checked the settings there and geofence is not setup on it. I have thought about uninstalling all camera systems from my phone and starting over installing my home system first. Also thought about repairing data base but I don't think that will help anything.
 
Sometimes this is fixed by removing the device from the Blue Iris Settings > Devices tab.
Then logging back into Blue Iris from the device.
OK, I uninstalled the phone under the mobile devices tab and then reinstalled it. It does not show the phone being inside the geofence. When I run the test for enter/exit geofence I get the notifications and the cameras change to the correct profile. Don't know why phone is not showing inside geofence.

When you re-connect a device to the Blue Iris server, you also need to re-set the 'Geofence radius'.

You may have already thought of this, but it's tripped me up before.
 
I uninstalled all 4 systems and reinstalled them. I though of the reset geofence and went outside and set it to 50. Still not showing inside geofence under the mobile devices tab.
 
One final brain fart...

While it seems unlikely, I suppose it's possible that your devices are not correctly determining their GPS location.

When you open the Apple Map App, or Google App, does it show the device at your location?
 
Just checked google maps and it shows me at home. I am thinking its a phone issue as well but I don't know what's going. Also when I do any testing from use on the other systems I set it up on mine first so I may have changed something there but I can't find it.
 
You might need to email Blue Iris Support. If you do this from the device App's Settings > ? (Info) tab > 'Send feedback to support', Ken will get the iOS device details.
I going to do some testing tomorrow with the phone and go in and out of the geofence and se what happens. If it still does not work I will email Ken.
