I just updated several Geovision cameras to the latest firmware and now neither the original user name/password I had assigned nor the default credentials work. I have done such updates in the past with no issues. Anyone know what might be wrong? I can reset to factory defaults if I need to, but that's a major pain.

Hi DMac,
I have exactly the same issue. And the cameras are on a pole, 10m high, so not easy to reset. Did you find a way to solve this issue without resetting to factory defaults ?

I finally found the reason why : In old versions of the firmware, all characters are converted into lowercase, so the password if full lowercase. In newest versions, characters can be lowercase or uppercase.
In my password manager, I stored the password like this : "aBcDeF", but the real password was in fact "abcdef", as the old firmware had converted all characters in lowercase.
Once firmware upgraded, I tried the password "abcdef", and it worked like a charm :)
