@riogrande75 Yep, found the thread, thanks. Question for you: what is the difference between a SIP firmware and a non-SIP firmware. Are there any reasons why a person might want to keep a non-SIP firmware?

The seller advised that if I flash the SIP-firmware, I will not be able to downgrade back to the original firmware, is that true?

I have the VTO without non-sip, as I don't have a SIP configuration running at home (and not planning for one pretty soon). There are indeed firmware "downgrade limits", in which you need non-standard ways to flash elder firmwares. Something with signed firmwares. Google is your friend.
