I ordered the 2.8mm lens, but there is no indication of the box that actually says "2.8mm" There is nothing printed on the side of the lens of the camera. How can I actually tell that the fov is 2.8mm? Here are some specifics:

The sticker on the side of the box (original Dahua red/white box) says:

DH-IPC-HDW4300C-0280B
P/N 1.0.01.04.3057
S/N 1F01249PAA00160
GB/T 15865-1995

I also got the mini cd, allen wrench, three allen screws with it. But no Hard copy user's manual. I thought that the camera should have the logon info (logon, password) printed on the side of the box also? The camera has the Dahua logo printed on the body.

So, is there a sure fire way to tell the lens size on this? I haven't hooked it up to test yet, but I do want to click "OK" on the aliexpress site so the merchant can get his money.

I would suspect that the 0280B at the end of the model number would indicate 2.8mm. But I'm not sure.

I would hook it up and see if the field of view is close to 90 degrees.

My 4MP dahua with 2.8mm lens has a view like this in a square room:

Very close to 90 degrees. Maybe a little wider.

Yes, I think it's about 92 or 93 degrees.

As far as I know, all Dahua cameras arrive with a default username, password and IP address of "admin" and "admin", and "192.168.1.108", respectively. If your camera has the 2.8mm wide angle lens, there will be some moderate "fish eye lens" effect of the video near the edges of the frame.
