h.265+ problem

Hikvision NVR DS-7608NI-K2 and 8MP cams DS-2CD2x85FWD-I both support h.265+ but all I can see is black screen in LIVE mode and no playback history.

h.265 without (+) works normally

Has anyone tried using h.265+ ?

Worked okay for me on a 7616NI-I2, but that was with a 2mp ptz with 265+

Got all the latest firmware?

All firmware is up to date. Hope this is not because of 4K recording and Hik sells not ready products again. Will make some test later lowering recording resolution to 2MP.

That may be it, I remember on the E range of NVR's there was issues with live view and multiple main streams over 1080p - 4MP camera's for instance had to be displayed in substream which looked rubbish if you had a 4MP as the main screen in a 1+7 or 1+5 setup - have you tried the 8MP on a single screen live view?

7608NI-K2 can handle two 4k live streams. I2 can stream four 4k streams.

Its likely a firmware issue then, I'd imagine that it takes more processing power to decode H265+ so there may be an issue there especially in 4k.
