I just wanted to wish you all a very happy Easter and hope you all get to spend some quality time with your families, friends, and loved ones! Be safe always!

I for one can't wait to see my little 8 year old get out of her 'quarantined' bedroom today and bounce around the backyard looking for eggs! It will certainly be a VERY HAPPY EASTER in our household today!

Happy Easter to you and it sounds like a great day for you in all ways. We're stuck with the phone for family contact. They just got over the CCP Virus and the Mrs just got her second vaccine shot on Friday so she's not "fully protected". We do have a nice ham to cook along with sweet potatoes though.

We boil it once in water for a few minutes with a "secret ingredient" to remove some of the salt. The secret ingredient is a 12 oz bottle of whatever beer we have hanging around. Then it gets a light glaze of either maple syrup or honey and pineapple pinned to it. Oh yeah, a few cloves for some spice as well.
