I'm new to the forum.
I have an old stucco house that acts like a huge Farraday cage. WiFi signals have a hard time penetrating. I've seen reference to PoE enabled smart doorbells, and I figured out that PoE stands for Power over Ethernet. Do PoE enabled doorbells allow one to hard wire the chime, or does that just supply power to the doorbell? Is there something else I should look for? Can anyone point me in the right direction?
