HDMI & USB over Cat6. Wireless mouse ?

First post on IPCam after reading for many years.

I use a HDMI with USB over cat6 (15 meters total length) and wondering if other have used a wireless mouse and a possible recommendation. Maybe I am being overly cautious thinking that a driver will be needed to make it work but this is why I am posting the questions.

No drivers needed. Almost every install I do has a wireless mouse. Some are better for distance/punching through grid ceiling/walls.

For real cheap I’ve got a few of these out there where the usb dongle is 20’ away and above drop grid

I often use a Logitec wireless mouse over about 4 meters. Never tried 15 meters, close to 50 feet. They've always been plug and play for me, for both the PC and the NVR. Down south here, Staples usualy has good prices on them. Don't know if it's different up north.

15 meters (how many walls?) can be little too much for any wireless mouse (bluetooth or 2.4GHz radio with dongle)..

You can use any wireless mouse with dongle.. but probably you will l have to minimize this 15m distance..

there are many 'hdmi usb kvm extender over cat6' on the market - which transmit not only HDMI but also two way USB for mouse/keyboard over one single CAT6 cable..

You can also 'usb extender cables' which allows to minimize distance between mouse and mouse receiver..
