Hi Everyone,

Excited to have finally registered here at ipcamtalk.com!

Over the years I have landed here through google search when working out issues, what a great site and bunch of people!

I am Long time user of all things technology and have over the years tried all kinds of cam related stuff for my own projects

I'd say Hikvision and LTS hardware have been where I have been "swimming" for the most part maybe because maybe the PC's, cams, phone app's and lack of consumer vpn just weren't there yet in terms maturity, unlike today.

So I purchased for the 2nd time Blue Iris (I had previously 5 years ago and never used it! lol too busy - they did give me a discount on my unused key!)

I setup simple system for home and have been going though all the guides here as well as posts and having a lot of fun setting it up, but now I thought maybe it was time to make my own post to ask some questions.

Not sure if I should include my questions here as this is the introductions area, so I will hold off for now in this post.
