I was looking for a good cctv forum and just found it
I ordered some Hikvision products, namely the 7608NI-K2/8P, 7716NI-I4/16P, 2CD2735FWD-IZS, 2CD2635FWD-IZS and 2CD4A25FWD-IZHS with 8 - 32 mm lens and LPR.
Now all those cameras are able to zoom and have pretty low min. illumination. Before ordering those Hikvision cameras, I came across some cameras of Sony with varifocal lens. I noticed that in the specifications of the Sony cameras the f-number is listed like "F1.2 (Wide) to F2.1 (Tele)". When I look at the datasheets of my cameras, I only find one number. Does the f-number of my cameras still increase if I zoom in?
