Hello -- From a newbie who can read/speak/listen Chinese

Hello everyone, I found this forum when I was doing research on HikVision cams and NVR: I am going to setup my first system with 2~4 cam and a NVR for our home here in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Because my mother tongue is Chinese, so I am thinking to purchase the system directly from China. Plan to buy cams and NVR with H.265 ability.

I have background in computer programming, but not knowing too much about network ...
