Hello from Baltimore

Howdy,

My name is Kevin and I live in Baltimore, MD. I am logging in here as a complete beginner to all things IP cam. I have purchased and subsequently returned some of the newer tech for cam security (Dropcam, FLIR FX) because I was not happy with either the performance, customizability, or ridiculous "cloud storage" costs.. so here I am!

I am looking to build a small system with 2 to 4 cameras total, viewing the front and back entries of my rowhome. I am looking forward to learning and chatting with you all. Any tips or advice or a point in the right direction on this forum are welcome!
