I've mostly been a lurker here. I'm trying to learn about the best brands and good equipment as I venture into this hobby. I've mostly got foscams but i'm quickly learning those are not the equipment of choice. I'm currently struggling with finding the right vendor, good price, and good mobile app. Hikvision and the Hik-rebranded hardware keeps coming up. The chinese firmware worries me so I'm likely to go with a US vendor.
