Hi

Stumbled across this forum when I was researching IP cameras and NVR/DVRs for a couple of projects I'm looking to do. Great forum with a ton of information.

First, I'm looking to install some outdoor cameras around my house and possibly drive them with Blue Iris. I use HomeSeer for my automation system and BI seems to work very well with that.

I'm also looking at replacing an old DVR based system at a family warehouse. The DVR no longer records and the cameras are getting pretty old. Looking at pulling new wire and doing IP POE cameras with a NVR or BI setup.

Any input and guidance would be greatly appreciated.

How do you like your LTS cameras? From what I've read they are rebranded HIK?

Yes, they are rebranded Hikvisions and the warranty and service from @milkisbad is great.I like them very much during the day. I've struggled some to get something I am happy with at night. I've added external IR and it helps a lot. Mine are 4mp turrets. 2mp might be better at night but these sure look good in the daytime. Turrets have been much better than bullets in my experience, much, much better as far as no spider web issues.
