Hello everyone.
I stumbled across this forum earlier this morning. I've spent all day reading on here, bouncing from subject to subject. Lots of great info and what appear to very helpful members.
I have a lot of questions that I will probably be asking over the course of the next 6 months or so(whenever I decide to start my project), but I do have one I plan to ask in a new thread right after I finish typing this out.
I am am an electrician by trade. Iff anyone has any electrical questions, feel free to ask and I will do my best to help. But when it comes to this low voltage data stuff, I'm very inexperienced.
My ultimate goal is to have around 6 outdoor ip cameras outside of my house, hard wired. What they will be and how it will be setup is something I still need to figure out. I also want to create a home network for media, but I feel that is probably something for a different forum
