Hello everyone,
Just joined recently seeking to get some advice. Looking to setup a system in a new home. I have experience with some ip cameras and bnc based cameras, but never used Hikvision or some of the other brands that are touted here on this forum, and I would like to.
Currently I have both Cat5e and Power ran to 4 spots on my house. All locations will be on the eaves. Because of that I am leaning towards domes or turrets, though I kind of prefer domes because it's not obvious where they are pointing.
I have a TP-LINK TL-SG1008P and a Synology DS212j that I would like to continue to use. I might end up getting a NVR, but probably later on.
Any suggestions?
