Standing here in the lobby...took a look through the tech PDF guides...gives me an understanding on how far and fast technology is rendering.
Feel like I'm already outdated as soon as the sun sets each day!
I already like the site options for navigation, etc.
To be clear and respectful of your platform here, I would like to know where I should address my circumstance appropriately. My issue is regarding older tech in the form of a Nightowl DVR-VDP2-8 unit.
After a thread search, there doesn't seem to be a beacon I can migrate too.
I am hoping that there may be some wizards or magicians in here to help with a solution.
Would the best way of going about introducing my scenario be starting a new thread...?....and where would I go about this as to not indirectly hiccup in the wrong conversation?

You will find many here started with a nightowl and dumped it once something happened because it was useless video and found this forum to find better cameras!

Update : So I edited down my post in the NVR/DVR/computers forum and is now in 'waiting for approval' status. I'm not sure if it was in 'waiting for approval' for the last week and if anyone was able to read it.
Anyhow, basically starting from the beginning again. Cheers.
