Hello - trying to get T-Mobile text from SensorPlus

Hello - trying to get T-Mobile text from SensorPlus when the thermostat is out-of-range.
I have checked the T-Mobile FORUM and found conflicting reports that it works /is deprocated.
I am unable to send a simple TEST email from hotmail to my 1xxxxxxxxx@TMOmail.net <- as per the T-Mobile website.
