I have a variety of ip cams throughout the house, Foscam, hootoo, a EasyN outdoor PTZ dome camera and a mystery Chinese cam that I think is a Grandstream clone. The best by far are the EasyN and the Chinese clone. The Foscam and others like it are junk, I won't be buying anymore of them. I'm using Blue Iris on a dedicated Surveillance computer that runs 24/7. All cams are hard wired except for the EasyN. It's location makes it extremely hard to run a Cat5 cable to it so it connects wirelessly.
