Help a with Camera Speaker

The first screenshot is from my phone. In the top right hand corner, you see a speaker icon. You can turn on and off the speaker to listen to the microphone in the camera.

Second screenshot is from my tablet.

Same app downloaded to my android tablet. The second screenshot shows NO speaker icon in the top right corner of the screen. It just shows signal strength and data speed kb/s.

Same app on both devices. But, I used to be able to turn the speaker on, on my tablet. I can't do this any longer.

Is there a way to turn on the ability to activate the speaker on my tablet app?

I just want to be able to turn on the speaker on my android tablet, like I can with my phone.

I used to be able to do this, but, I cannot now.

On the tablet:

• Have you tried uninstalling/re-installing the app?
• Did the tablet receive an O/S update prior to the start of your issue?
• Has a permission/feature setting been recently changed on the tablet?
