Help-Dahua Camera Setup

hi there,
I only new and need to know the best way to set up my Dahua cameras, I got this model HDW2449TM-S-IL and I seem to be having issue with them sticking to the desired Illuminator settings? eg, we have day, night and general,
In day, I turn off Smart illumination and put white light to off and save, in Night and general they on white light +manual and 70% and save, but I noticed sometimes I see during the day the white light was on and seems to have reverted back to smart illumination, I wonder when setting up- do I go back to day? what I doing wrong?

These cameras settings stick the best when using Internet Explorer. Not Edge or Chrome with the IE Tab, but plain ole Explorer that is still in Windows.

So not via the NVR which I currently using? and are the settings OK for colour at night?

No set them up in the camera GUI.

It has been well proven here that setting them up in thr NVR causes issues.
