Hello, I bought a house and the previous owner has 8 Clearview PoE cameras on the exterior of the house. I believe Clearview cameras are Dahau but I'm not 100% (frankly, getting any info on these cameras online has oddly been very challenging; it almost seems like Clearview isn't a real company lol).

I'd like to get them setup via Frigate, as the owner took the DVR but left the cameras.

One thing I noticed is they all have private static IPs (the IPs start with 172 rather than my usual 192).

Is that something you'd recommend resetting or do you think its fine to retain those? Factory resetting these cameras does not seem to be easy (again, not a whole lot of info out there on it) so I'd ideally prefer to avoid that unless its recommended.

Yes, they are all POE and functional. I temporarily added them to my network to test (i.e. opened up a network stream on VLC). And in doing so, saw they all have private static IPs.

I'm honestly not sure if that's the company. The logo is different to what's on my cameras. Mine look like this; not sure if this is the exact model (again, can't find info on these cameras for the life of me) but the logo/size is identical

If you can't login to them they'll need to be reset, the default user and password should be admin-admin. If I'm correct you should be able to do something with a dahua config tool, although I'm not completely sure if they are or not.
Good luck!

+1^^^
The webGUI in the linked PDF looks like Dahua; no problem using those private IP's along as they suit the network subnet you intend to use them with but I'd try a reset using the config tool anyway if it were me.
