HELP - Hikvision ANPR cam DS-2CD4A2FWD-IZSP

Hello Everyone.

I need help installing this camera. Right now, it is mounted on a pole on our main entrance/exit gate. Installation height is 12ft high. But for some reason, sometimes it's not catching the plates of the cars.

Is the 12ft height for install too high for this camera?
Or is there certain angles you need to do?

Are you saying it's missing the vehicle completely? or just not a good enough image?
Post a video clip of an instance where it DOES capture a plate...

The camera is catching the vehicle, but it's not catching the plates. I'm using DS-96128NI-I64 NVR.

adjust the shutter speed to 1/1000 or more.
