Help Request: Empiretech Villa Door Stations model DB2X-WP

Hi ipcamtalk.com members:

I need help please.

I just purchased thirteen (13) Empiretech PoE cameras including two (2) Villa Door Stations model DB2X-WP and a 16-Channel NVR model NVR16CH-16P-2AI.

Except for the two (2) Villa Door Stations, all the cameras show up on my big screen TV.

Using the NVR app, I changed the IP Addresses for the Villa Door Stations (Channels 2 & 6) to match the sequence (10.1.1.XX) of the other cameras:



I unplugged the NVR and plugged it back in again.

The Villa Door Stations still do not show up.

I tried using the Configtool to initialize them, but the Villa Door Stations do not show up on the Configtool.

Please reply with guidance on how to get Villa Door Stations up & running.

Hi! So this is how i setup the door stations;

-connect door station with poe switch or injector. Not directly on the nvr.

-give them an normal IP adress in your network range. By preference give them the same password ass the nvr

-configure them with configtool or directly with a browser

-after this add them to your camera list.
