Dear all,
during a firmware update, something went wrong, and I crashed my six IPC-HDBW3841R-ZAS cameras. Now I'm trying to restore them.
The cameras, however, cannot be reached in any way via LAN/ethernet.
Is there a way to restore them?
I'm trying also to locate the serial port but without any success...
May you help?
Thank you!
Regards,
Nico

Hopefully the update reset the cams to default with an IP of 192.168.1.108.
Connect ONE CAM ONLY, insure your PC is on the same subnet (static IP of 192.168.1.100, subnet mask of 255.255.255.0, no gateway or preferred DNS should work OK) and open a browser to that default IP.

Dear TonyR,
I tried resetting and accessing the camera. Unfortunately, the camera is unreachable and has no open IP ports. The only solution is to load the firmware using the serial port. The problem is that I can't find the serial port on these cameras. Can anyone help me? Or, are there other solutions that I didn't consider? Thank you!
