Help Resetting Password on Knight-badged DVR (KNT-7404-TET, Hikvision OEM)

Hi everyone,

I’m hoping someone here can help me reset a DVR that looks to be a Hikvision OEM.

• Model (as shown on the label): KNT-7404-TET
• Serial number: 0420161024CCWR664008072WCVU
• Branding: It has a knight helmet logo (not the UK “Knight Security” company).
• Reset method shown on screen: “System Date + Secure Code”
• System date at reset attempt: 20250819

I’ve already tried both Hikvision and SANNCE support, but they’ve told me they can’t generate a reset file/code for this unit because it’s not in their system.

Has anyone here worked with these Knight-badged Hikvision OEMs before? Is there a known generator for the secure code, or would anyone be able to help me generate the reset file from my XML?

Any guidance would be hugely appreciated — I don’t mind sharing the SADP XML file privately if needed.
