Help setting up DH-SD52C225U-HNI + NVR4104-P-4KS2

Hi all,

So I'm having issues with the above combo - first off it's local home network (I'm not sure if there is something I am mean to update or allow in my home network) but I can have access to it via remote view on my laptop.

Which leads me to beleive the NVR is okay

Settings - IPV4 with DHCP on and virtual host (no idea what that is)


The issue is when I connect the DH-SD52C225U-HNI It adds it to the camera list and finds a channel. Though I cant display the footage and it always has a red status bar...

Not sure what I need to do to get it going (and it wont show me the camera footage). I am trying to connect to the camera though not much luck. Not sure if the camera password is the same admin admin or admin [my nvr password']

Anyhow lots of help needed here- first timer so please be gentle.

Okay so I've reset the camera - and it keeps telling me to initialize the camera

So I have use local password and email.

Then I choose a static IP address. or even DHCP either one it tells me that conflicting IP and it's failed

Okay so I forgot I took my lan cable out of the modem... in any case the Camera now talks to the NVR but I've lost the NVR to the network...
