Hello,
I hesitate between 2 Dahua PTZ cameras available on Aliexpress:
The SD6C225U-HNI SD6C225U-HNI | Dahua Technology
or
The SD49225T-HN SD49225T-HN | Dahua Technology

I want to monitor my front yard and the big difference is that one supports AutoTracking (+ $ 75) and the other does not. I made a photo montage with the place where the camera would be (it would replace a fixed Dahua camera of 2.6mm which does not allow to see in full the front yard, my car in the street, my post box, etc.). Moreover, the image is distorted and at night it is not terrible.

I am also willing to analyze other suggestions, but my NVR is a Dahua DH-NVR4104H-P and I would prefer not to complicate my life.

Currently

My car is on the other side of the street and we do not see it, we do not see my external storage (vandalized twice), etc.

what front yard? a fixed camera could watch all that and then some..

In all cases (eg camera 2.6mm) I have uncovered areas and it makes me crazy that young people from the neighborhood steals things or make graffiti. And for identification it is not easy if you do not see the face properly ...

That's what I was thinking. Even if there's more to cover than what can be seen in your picture, keep in mind that a ptz can only see what it's pointed at too and will miss everything else. A tour or a scan? It could miss the most important shot when it looks away. Same goes for auto tracking. That's too much dependency on the hope it will track perfectly and get the one shot you need. My opinion, put up as many single cameras as is needed to cover the area and make the focal lengths meet your needs. That way you have quality, full time coverage of every spot. The starlight varifocal turrents seem to be the best offering at the moment. Read the threads about them. Good luck.

You know you want some, you can start with your front door camera. :)
