Dear all,

Thank you a lot for this great forum, and I would really be very happy if someone can help...

I contacted the supplier of my IP Camera (Jienuo)), and asked for a new firmware, which they sent me, that is named : General_HZXM_IPC_HI3518C_50H10L_V4.02.R11.20140417_ALL.BIN, I had the manufacturer site thru this

Hangzhou Xiongmai Technology Co.,LTD.-(00001510)IPC50H10L V4.0.R11.00001510.1

After flashing it, my IP Camera died (have only access to port 23 with a telnet login that is "(none) login:", previously I had no telnet/ftp, and just had the special telnet port at 9527 (admin/nopassword), the firmware was old, from 2016, so I wanted to update it... what a mistake LOL... it was : V4.02.R11.00001510.11010.230300.00000

If you have some tips, to restore it... it would be great, and where I could find the new firmware that was annouced, that is named as zip, 00001510.1ipc50h10lv4.0.r11.zip, the web page was showing as a title/name : "Netsurveillance" (and the brand was "USAFEQLO", model "720P IP Camera").

The mac address of the camera is : 00:12:16:b0:67:1c (seems to be a range owned by "ICP Internet Communication Payment AG")

Thank you in advance, any help is very much appreciated !

TS

P.S.: I tried the most common admin/password, like 1234, 12345, 1234567890, empty password, admin, etc... nothing.

What process did you use to flash the new FW version to the camera? If you've already been in contact with the supplier and they sent you the new FW file, then I'd go back to them and ask for further assistance before trying random things that could brick the camera for good or requires a factory flash to restore normal function.

Thank you so much for your answer, I naturally emailed them stated the situation and I hope to get some feedback from them (it could even help us here in cases similar to mine). For now yes, I have telnet, but no user/pass... but the Hi board is alive, as it answers... perhaps in uboot mode ? Or factory mode to get a new firmware again ?

This is the software I used, that flashed the firmware they gave me,

Thank you for your answer and if you have any tips, I am happy to read them,

and this is the telnet I am getting, with request of login, port 23 is the only one open on that IP Camera / IP address,

I just got a reply from them, true or not about the telnet login but no way to flash firmware with that access ? I replied that I am interested naturally by the credentials (user/pass for that telnet access), and I am capable of doing JTAG if necessary and open the telnet port for their engineers (or I am asking them to replace me the board).

Thank you !

Yes i saw your verison now, actually you version should be:
IPC_HI3518C_50H10L_AE
And what i sent is :
IPC_HI3518C_50H10L
Now seeme your camera upgraded the wrong firmware, and can't search the IP.
If so you won't able to return back.
May i know why you need to upgrade the firmware? as your current version 2016-06-14 is update to date.
i know the telnet username and password, but you can't return the firmware over telnet.
