After being a lurker for a bit to learn about diy home cameras, etc... and not sure what camera to start with, I pulled the trigger and I placed my order today with @EMPIRETECANDY for a IPC-HDW-5231R-Z. So I'm very excited.
Thanks to all the guys/gals and your resources and threads on here. After I get use to this one and set it up to monitor either the front entrance or the front driveway/yard then I'll figure out what I want next.
This is feeling that it will become a hobby, lol. More to follow once I actually to get the toys... em, I mean security cameras. Seriously though, my goal is to discourage any break-ins or crap going on in the neighborhood and hopefully avoid future headaches because of not doing anything.
