HFW5449T1-ZE-LED update from older build fails. Looking for suggestions

Hi to all, I'm installing five 5449T1 cameras and I'm not able to update the firmware.
Here's the specs:
Cameras: Dahua IPC-HFW5449T1-ZE-LED
current out of the box firmware: 2.840.0000000.25.R, Build Date: 2023-04-25
newest version available on the dahua website: 3.140.0000000.32.R.250115

I found the firmware here:

I tried to update via web interface and via config tool. Neither works. (I'm on a Mac, could try on a pc with some effort, if needed).

I didn't install so many cameras. Has it something to do with the camera not being the S2 version even if the website states "IPC-HFW5449T1-ZE-LED" as title and only specifies "*specs for S2 version" see lines below?

Can it be that the version gap is too big and I need to flash some firmware in between first?

Any help and suggestion would be appreciated.

You don't have -S2 variant (it was released somewhere in 2024) but original version based on old (2.840) Volt firmware.
