Been researching cameras for about 2 years (yes, I procrastinate).

Just bit the bullet and ordered some Hikvision 2CD2132F-IS to work with my synology surveillance station. I found SS to be too buggy and couldn't get it to work right. Now I'm looking to get a Hik NVR.
 
Hi. That sounds like a good plan. Just be sure the NVR is the same region as the cameras, I think, or it might not work.
